WELCOME TO BICOLANDIA!

On the way to Brgy. Mainit, Pasacao, Camarines Sur.

I lie here in my bed contemplating about the places where I have been.  Yes, I've our never been outside my beloved country and only visited places in my region but you know what? It made me realize that our country is such a beautiful place especially Bicol.  Most of the people I've met during my travels were very keen on pleasing tourists locals and foreigners alike. For them, it doesn't matter where you came from. They always have smiles on their faces are always eager to help someone in need. Are you lost? Go ask someone along the way and most likely they will tell you which way to go and also you may hear a kind word or two.  I've been lost countless times but did not fear for one second because I know that there's always someone whom I can ask which direction to go. I don't mean to be impartial but it was what I experienced when I was on the road. I go to places I've never been to here in Bicol may it be because I've read about it or heard about it from the grape vine. Most of the time I end up being pleasantly surprised to see the hidden gems in a place, an unknown spot, a waterfall a hidden cove or a scenic road. Travelling has made me appreciate nature even more for with it I see the artwork of God and what a marvelous sight it is to behold!  I do hope that when you travel here you will experience the same thing. WELCOME TO BICOLANDIA! Immerse yourself in our culture and you will learn that it is really more fun here in the Philippines!

XOXO,
Jamaela
